most of the following photos have been digitally manipulated. my intention was to recreate the town’s railway station by composing the different elements that integrate the environment, be it buildings, trains or railways with its textures, sidewalks, walls and other details

dolls

chance took me to these dolls... or maybe it was my brother. in their eyes i saw the end of innocence

i took the same dolls and placed them in different sets. the next set shows the result

the following set is a photographic essay that confronts two momentums. if the end is a point we reach through a crescendo of staged dramatic situations, the beginning is implicit both in the appropriation of ruins as the backdrop for a plastic project, as in the recovery of two dolls that had been abandoned. it is in this violent game, built upon the spoils of memory, that we allow redemption and enforce the discovery of a new self (this set was presented to the competition: Novo Talento Fotografia Fnac)
